The Barber's Shop pic

Have finally completed a sketch of this shop using the photo. Now I have to try to paint it for real! The shop next door was an art shop which was interesting too but had big bins infront of it !Have moved north to the Highlands where internet is only available up to 7ish as the office closes at 6pm and if you sit outside the building you can get online but with midgies about I'm not keen on being out there! Have bought watercolour pencils in Oban which I probably don't need but feel better for owning them!

Something to consider

Wandered around today in sunshine and high temperatures so few photos taken for ''source material'' visited the National Gallery to look at the Impressionists-Monet and cezanne in particular no painting but bought
a great pencil with a rubber to protect the lead so no more excuses! This pic was a possibility but now I see it on screen I don't think so. Steve took a pic of an old barbers shop I'll try to paint it tomorrow!

No painting yet

Gathered source material today AKA taking loads of pictures
I like this one but could I make a painting out of it?

Looking for inspiration

That white paper is always a problem!
Not so when using acrylic just paint it with a warm or a cool colour. Using watercolour is something else!
